My sister Lisa turned me on to Zenni Optical. You upload your eyeglass prescription, then go to their website where you take a picture of yourself according to their directions.
Their app then allows you to see any pair of glasses they sell on your face. I thought it was truly amazing. I’ve ordered 4 different pair of glasses from them (because they’re so inexpensive compared to getting them from the eye doctor) and love every single one of them.
I was talking to my best friend (and sister-in-law) this morning about our hair. She’d thinking about changing her color and I’m thinking about growing mine out a bit. We figured there must be an app that will try out different hairstyles on your picture, like the Zenni eyeglasses app. Well, there is. But holy cow, I tried it today and, unless you want to be horrified and have your best friend tell you the results are not at all flattering, you might want to skip it.
I decided a long time ago that I was just gonna live with what God gave me in the looks and body parts department. Today I was reminded that it is what it is, and I’m just gonna live with what God gave me. If I decide to grow my hair out, I’ll have months (and months) to get used to how it looks.
