I feel completely blessed that somewhere along the way, I’ve learned to not live my life in fear. In fact, even facing a life threatening cancer diagnosis hasn’t triggered any fear and anxiety in me.
Understanding and embracing that birth is a death sentence helps give me the freedom to simply live life fearlessly.
Not fearlessly as in recklessly, but fearlessly in that no matter what happens, I can deal with it. My attitude is let’s get past whatever lousy thing may be a speed bump on the road of life and move on. Even if those bumps are manufactured and avoidable.
That attitude is critically important to both my day-to-day emotional health and my overall sense of well being in a world gone completely mad.
There are a whole lot of evil people in this world trying to scare us into compliance and subservience. We are bombarded daily with news and information, much of it totally fabricated and designed to keep us in a state of fear. Fearful people are much easier to control. Discerning truth, their tactics, and how they manipulate people is imperative. That understanding gives you the tools, and the courage, to live life on your terms, not theirs.
If you suffer from fear and anxiety about anything (or everything) in life that surrounds you, know that it doesn’t have to be that way. It’s not hard to learn to live fearlessly. But it is hard to make the choice to learn to live fearlessly. What’s it gonna be for you?
