I love that the seasons don’t change much in Florida, but September is notable year in and year out because it’s the start of the football season. When you’re born in Green Bay and raised in Wisconsin, that a very big deal. Very big. Maybe bigger than Christmas, because football season lasts longer than Christmas season.
So this is the weekend football season starts. I have my NFL+ subscription so I can watch all the games live, no matter where we are. I’ve figured out how to use my TV as a monitor from the phone so we don’t have to watch the games on the teeny-tiny screen. Football players don’t work for me when they’re ant-sized. And I’m planning the football food menu that never includes anything healthy or portion-controlled.
Yes, I’m ready as I can be for the post-Aaron Rodgers Green Bay football era. Let the games begin!
