Up until now Randy and I have never had any desire or given much thought to taking a cruise.
People. That always the problem for us. So many people, so little space.
But it seems like EVERYONE we know who lives in Florida are cruise veterans. And most people love them and book them over and over. Though we’re not ones to just follow the crowd, as an intensely curious human, I want to see for myself what all the buzz is about. As I started poking around on-line I got on a couple of mailing lists. Before I knew it we had ourselves a personal cruise consultant named Vernie and a full in-box of amazing (so they say) cruise deals, discounts and opportunities.
On the spur of the moment this week, after a timely call from Vernie and a particularly intriguing e-mail, I checked our calendar and found we could sandwich in a short cruise between house guests and home repair in the next few weeks.
Put on your best face, Bahamas. Here we come!
