I’m feeling sentimental today thinking about family and how important they are to me.
I know lots of families have lots of problems. Its so sad that some families are completely estranged from one another. Randy and I love that both our immediate families are, for the most part, people we like and enjoy spending time with.
The winter months in Florida for many full-time residents are often filled with visits from friends and relatives who want to escape the cold, snowy climate they live in. We have reservations at Grathen’s Last Resort for guests three out of the next six weeks. I am looking forward to each of the three groups of family who are coming.
We feel blessed that our families want to spend time with us as much as we want to spend time with them. And we are grateful to offer a comfortable, welcoming place for them to land and enjoy our togetherness.
Feeling sentimental about all that is an emotion I’m happy to soak in.
