Our niece and her family (husband, 18 year old daughter and 16 year old son) are coming from Wisconsin on Sunday to spend 5 days with us here in sunny, warm, southwest Florida.
I am beyond excited about their visit. We love these kids so much.
As guests, they will be just about perfect. They told us not to plan anything for them because all they want to do is be outside, hang out at the beach and around the pool, play games, and just enjoy each others company.
I love to play games. I suppose we’re going to have to take a few breaks to cook, eat, and do the dishes but otherwise it’s beach and games, pool and games, sun and games.
I need to stock up on prizes for game winners so we’re actually playing for something fun and kooky that will make winning (or even just playing) all that more enjoyable. Dollar Tree here I come.
Don’t contact me next week. I’m going to be too busy spending time with people I’m crazy about and doing things that bring me joy. Life is good.
