My sister and my mom gave me a totally unexpected gift today. There was no occasion for which a gift was anticipated.
This is a picture of the shell of the present, but the real gift was what they wrote in it about me. BEST. GIFT. EVER. I cried reading it out loud, humbled and honored and blessed. I felt like Sally Field accepting her Oscar in 1985…”I can’t deny the fact you like me, right now, you like me.”
